Information We Collect

Camera Access

QRCraft requires access to your device's camera solely for scanning QR and barcodes. No images or videos are recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Generated QR Codes

When you create QR codes (e.g., for text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact details, links, business cards, payment links, social media profiles, YouTube videos/channels, or custom-styled codes), the data is processed entirely on your device. None of this information is uploaded or shared unless you choose to do so.

File Access

If you choose to save a generated QR code as an image, QRCraft requires access to your device's storage to save the file locally. This access is used only to write image files and not to access or modify other data.

Advertising Data (AdMob)

QRCraft displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect anonymized data (such as your IP address and device ID) to serve personalized ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

How We Use Information

Scanning Functionality

Camera access is used in real-time for QR and barcode scanning.

QR Code Generation

Input data is used locally to generate QR codes and never leaves your device. This includes all new QR types: business cards, payment links, social media profiles, YouTube videos/channels, and custom-styled codes.

Saving Files

Storage access is only used to save QR code images if you choose to do so.

Copying Scan Results

When you choose to copy scan results to your clipboard, the data remains on your device. We do not access, store, or transmit copied content.

Opening Scan Results

When you choose to open scan results in a browser or Google search, QRCraft passes the data directly to your default browser application. We do not collect or transmit this data.

Advertisements

We use banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect anonymized data for ad personalization.

We use carefully placed ads to support development while maintaining a positive user experience.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

QRCraft uses AdMob to show ads. Data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Your generated QR codes and scan data never leave your device and are not accessible by us or any third parties.

When you copy scan results to clipboard or open them in external applications, your data is subject to those applications' privacy policies.
